TARUKENÁ — Guardian of the First Step

Unique sculptures. Ancestral names. Silent purposes.

They don't guard things, they guard what is lost: the right word, the forgotten path, the healing gesture, the memory of a precious moment.

TARUKENÁ

Tarukená appeared when movement was still uncertain and the ground had not yet learned to receive human steps. His curved body holds the tension between hesitation and advancement, like a gesture deciding to become action.

He protects new beginnings. When someone lingers too long on the edge of a decision, Tarukená leans slightly forward, reminding them that every journey only exists after the first step accepts the ground.

All pieces in the Guardians Collection are born from reclaimed wood — sometimes on paper, other times directly in the wood. The form appears, and then comes the story — my text, written for each sculpture.

Each Guardian comes with its certificate of authenticity, attesting to its origin, history, and authorship.
